Hyundai's 2025 IONIQ 5 EV already has discounts of up to $16,000


The upgraded electric SUV comes with up to $16,000 in savings. With discounts, the new 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 can be purchased for less than $28,000, nearly half off MSRP. That's cheaper than a new Toyota RAV4.

Hyundai's best-selling electric car is better than ever. The 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 was launched last September with more width, style, and features. It now comes with a NACS port for charging at Tesla Superchargers.

The refreshed IONIQ 5 was the first vehicle to roll off the line at Hyundai's new EV plant in Georgia. Built in the US, it is now eligible for a $7,500 federal tax credit for the first time. But it doesn't end there.

Hyundai is already offering big savings opportunities as the new electric SUV goes on sale. According to the auto intelligence firm CarsDirectthe 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 already has discounts of up to $16,000.

In addition to the $7,500 EV tax credit, all professionals include a $7,500 Sales Cash Bonus. Buyers can use the tax credit up front, while the Cash Bonus applies when you buy or rent.

In addition, Hyundai is offering a $1,000 win at most locations when you trade in a competitive vehicle. This can also be used when buying or renting.

Combined, that comes to $16,000 in rebates. Starting at $43,975, you may be able to purchase a 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 SE Standard Range model for less than $28,000.

That's more expensive than the 2025 Toyota RAV4, which starts at $30,245. However, the Toyota SUV does not have a factory discount. Hyundai promotion only through February 3, 2025.

With a large 84 kWh battery, the 2025 IONIQ 5 has a driving range of 318 miles, up from 303 miles in the outgoing model. The Standard Range model, powered by a 63 kWh battery pack, has a range of 245 miles.

Hyundai's new model now comes with a NACS port as standard, opening up access to 36,000 DC fast chargers. That's more than double the number current drivers can achieve.
