2025 Ford F-150 Lightning goes for $65,090

The 2025 Ford F-150 electric truck is going without major changes. For now at least, that includes pricing—surprising, given how prices have unexpectedly skyrocketed since the truck's launch.

Ford replaced the 2024 Avalanche's paint color with Space White Metallic, but the less expensive Lightning is still a fleet-oriented Pro model, which starts at $47,780 with a mandatory $2,095 destination charge.

For non-fleet buyers, the lowest priced Lightning XLT is still available starts at $65,090 and destination. The Flash range introduced for the 2024 model year tops the XLT at $70,090 and destination, while the Lariat and Platinum grades sit at $79,090 and $87,090 respectively.

All Lightning models are still equipped with dual-motor all-wheel drive and a crew cab with the same bed length, but with two options for batteries and outputs. Versions with the 98-kwh Standard Range pack make 452 hp while models with the 131-kwh Extended Range pack produce 580 hp, with 775 lb-ft of torque in either case. EPA range is unchanged at a maximum of 240 miles on the Standard Range package as well 320 miles for the Extended Range package.

Don't be surprised if current prices change, as they have been very volatile in the past. Only in 2024, Ford first lowered prices on the top-trim versions, but raised prices on the entire lineup at the beginning of the year. It then reversed itself a few months later price reduction up to $5,500.

Those cuts come after higher prices hurt demand for the electric car, something Ford initially tried to fix by cutting production in late 2023. Production was then temporarily halted at the end of 2024 during the reset of Ford's EV plans.
