The Kia EV4 flaunts its sculpted silhouette with a new look

Kia's new electric sedan, the Kia EV4, is coming soon. It it was spotted showing off its unique silhouette ahead of its official debut.

It's been just over a year since we first saw the EV4 during Kia's first annual EV Day last October. The EV4 concept is part of Kia's affordable electric vehicle lineup, which includes the EV3 and EV5.

Kia's “EVs for all” strategy includes existing models such as the larger but more affordable EV6 and EV9.

Its new entry-level models will play a key role as the Korean automaker looks to establish itself as a leader in the EV era. Kia's EV4 was shown alongside the compact EV3 and EV5 SUVs, both of which have entered the market.

Before its official debut, the EV4 has been spotted several times in the wild. In August, we first got a look at the hatchback that hasn't been released in Europe yet.

New spy photos emerging ShortsCar show off the EV4's distinctive silhouette. Beyond the camouflage, you can see the EV4's sleek silhouette, similar to the concept shown last October.

Kia calls the EV4 “a completely new type of EV sedan.” It will pull design cues from its new models, such as the larger EV9, but the electric sedan is expected to be in a class of its own. The low, wide stance is reminiscent of a sports car but with a modern electric twist.

The interior will include Kia's nextgen Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) infotainment system. Kia's award-winning system features two 12.3″ infotainment screens and driver display screens.

Kia is expected to unveil the production model by the end of 2024, and deliveries will begin early next year. Pricing and specs will be revealed closer to launch, but the EV4 is expected to start around $35,000.
