The upgraded 2025 Audi E-Tron GT range gets performance upgrades, larger battery packs, and a simplified system, along with a $126,795 starting price that makes this model's starting point $18,800 more than it was for the outgoing 2024 model.
That higher 2025 price, which includes a mandatory $1,295 destination charge, buys the new S E-Tron GT as the entry-level model. Its standard dual-motor all-wheel drive powertrain is rated at 670 hp, compared to 523 hp in the previous base model. That speeds up 0-60 mph acceleration in 0.6 seconds, according to Audi, to 3.3 seconds with launch control.
The IS E-Tron GT is available in both Premium Plus and Prestige grades, with the latter priced at $137,095 destination. High performance The RS E-Tron GT returns again, but now it's only available in the new Performance trim priced at $168,295 including destination.
2025 Audi RS E-Tron GT
RS E-Tron GT Performance models produce 912 hp, compared to 647 hp of the previous RS E-Tron GT. Audi estimates 0-60 mph at 2.4 seconds when using launch control. Push-to-pass function too adds 94 hp in 10 second bursts at speeds over 19 mph. It is Audi's most powerful and fastest production car to date.
All models use a Battery pack 105-kwh shared the updated 2025 Porsche Taycan, Audi's platform mate. Despite a 12% increase in capacity over the previous 93.4-kwh pack, Audi claims a 25-pound reduction. EPA-rated the range of the S E-Tron GT is 300 miles on 20-inch wheels, a huge improvement over the 249 miles of the 2024 Audi E-Tron GT.
The charging power also increases from 270 kw to 320 kwreducing the 10%-80% charging time from the previous 21.5 minutes to 18 minutes, according to Audi. The maximum power available under regenerative braking has also increased from 290 kw to 400 kw, up to 0.45g of reduction possible with regenerative braking alone, Audi claims.
2025 Audi RS E-Tron GT
Audi's emphasis on improvements under the skin while keeping the basic exterior package mirrors the approach taken with the 2025 Taycan. On a first drive, we found the 2025 Taycan to be well suited to its purpose, adding real-world range and charging usability while maintaining the high-speed composure and stability that have been its hallmarks.
So we're eager to get back behind the wheel of the refreshed E-Tron GT, in its original form emphasizing touring comfort over the Taycan's sharpness. It shouldn't be long, as the 2025 E-Tron GT models are now available to order in the US, with production taking place in Böllinger Höfe, Germany.
