Apple releases notable update in Apple's Apple Maps at the Ford drivers. Starting today, Ford Mustang Mach-e and Fordning CDING maps
As I mentioned earlier, Ford began to send adapter CCS to the newCACs adacxes that allow Mach-e drivers and the Limini Charge Supercharger last year. To this day, anyway, apples did not know about this change. This means that the Apple Maps OV is potential Mach-e driver in CCS charging channels, even if the Supercharger method may be more effective.
For today's change, the apples maps with Carplay will now include the immediate charge for charging channels, such as Tesla Supercharger, in recommendations for organizing the corresponding route.
At the blog post, Ford explains:
Apple Devils Devils in Carplay lets drivers install their way and can view the estimated battery rate they will have when they get where they find it when the charger is required. Earlier, Mustang Mach-e and Lightning Drivers F-150 will have to open another app, and put the fastest NACS charger as a place to add. Now, with Apple Routing EV routing maps and the Fast Charging Integration, the experience will be sitting.
How to use Apple EV routing maps in Carplay:
- Connect your Apple iPhone to Carplay.
- Open Apple Maps, Go to Settings, and confirm your charging network (s) – Make sure you select a quick charging station, such as Supercharger channel. You should do this only once.
- Enter the destination.
- Apple maps will then calculate a limited charge of charging status and you will be when you get to your destination.
- If the case is required, according to a quick way, it will automatically move you to the speedy charging station. *
This is an important review in the Apple EV maps for the experience of Ford drivers. Next to the list of my wishes is the battery installation battery support in the use of Apple maps at EV Routing. Android Auto added this feature in October in October.
The new feature is now available for iPhone users using iOS 17 or later. No software update is required for your car.
