Komatsu, an international manufacturer of construction, mining, forestry and military equipment, has introduced the Power Agnostic 930E, its first commercial truck in the new Power Agnostic series.
The transport truck is designed for mining operations and takes diesel, battery and hydrogen power sources.
Built on the company's modular power-agnostic platform, the 930E allows mining companies to start with conventional diesel engines and transition to cleaner energy sources, including the use of a diesel trolley assist or as one of the future flexible charging solutions for battery trucks.
“This truck will provide customers with operational flexibility in achieving their sustainability goals when the opportunity is right for them,” said Dan Funcannon, Senior VP of Surface Haulage for Komatsu.
