Through the Fisker Group still through bankruptcyThe Fisker Ocean electric SUV is being recalled again, this time for a defect that could cause the vehicles to roll over.
I the recall covers 7,745 vehiclesrepresenting all 2023 and 2024 Oceans produced in the US, according to Monday's disclosure from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). A problem with the braking system may allow these vehicles to be able to drive and reverse with zero accelerator-pedal pressure, the safety regulator said, adding that some customers also reported not being able to shift into park.

Fisker told NHTSA that it is aware of one injury related to the issue, which the company believes is concerning 100% cars to people who remember. It is also an issue that should have been fixed.
Fisker released a free over-the-air (OTA) software update. on Mar. 11, 2024, adds an automatic hold feature that activates when the brake pedal is depressed while stationary, and holds vehicles in place even when the brake pedal is released. Ocean is involved to remember a lot dealing with everything from brake renewal issues to doors that won't open, but recall operations have become increasingly difficult since the company filed for bankruptcy in June.
In September, Fisker said it would continue to provide free software updates, but that the owners will have to pay at least some of the memory maintenance costs. The Fisker Owners Association (FOA) has been working to identify shops willing to service and repair Oceans as the company's bankruptcy plans continue.
