Fisker Ocean has been recalled with a roll away release

A problem with the braking system may allow these vehicles to be able to drive and reverse with zero accelerator-pedal pressure, the safety regulator said, adding that some customers also reported not being able to shift into park.

Fisker told NHTSA that it is aware of one injury related to the issue, which the company believes is concerning 100% cars to people who remember. It is also an issue that should have been fixed.

Fisker released a free over-the-air (OTA) software update. on Mar. 11, 2024, adds an automatic hold feature that activates when the brake pedal is depressed while stationary, and holds vehicles in place even when the brake pedal is released.
