Genesis showed off the new GV60 MIV this week at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. Crowds lined up to see it at the Ameron Davos Swiss Mountain Resort, not far from the WeF venue.
Based on its first dedicated EV, the GV60, the concept is designed to deal with the most extreme terrain and weather conditions in operation.
The purpose-built vehicle detects off-road objects such as snow patches and medical and emergency communication systems to save on trips to the mountains or other large terrain. Other upgrades include a heavy-duty roof rack and a wack hatch rack.
Genesis added large Carbon Flanders fenders to warn bystanders and protect the car from bad weather damage.
With a completely electric PowerTrain, the Genesis Gv60 MIV does not have a Tailparipe exit, which protects the environment. It's almost silent, with little noise pollution.
Inside, the Off-Road Electric SUV features custom sports seats, adding to the GV60's already impressive interior.
The concept follows the upgraded GV60, which was revealed earlier this month. Genesis updated it with Shexter Front and Rear, more technology, and added comfort.
