It is called the Jaguar Type 00 concept, i a two-door fastback coupe it features a more angular look than current Jaguar models, but with a long hood and short rear nods to classic Jag cars like the E-Type.

The concept does not have a rear window, like the Polestar 4, with a camera system that may help with rear vision. The slat motif is repeated on the front and rear, and even the roof.

New, simplified, Jaguar logos adorn the front and rear of the concept as well as the front fenders. The design is simple, and brutal, but it rides on large 23-inch wheels.

The interior features an oval steering wheel and a floating divider between the seats. The lack of screens is deceiving. Floating digital screens extend from the dashboard and can be used from there for a clean look.

Many features of the Design Vision concept are expected to appear on the first day of Jaguar's upcoming EVsaa low-slung grand tourer the automaker has shown a sneak peek. The production version, which will have four doors instead of two, is scheduled to start in 2025 with a six-figure price tag of 100,000 British pounds (about $163,000). Two more EV variants are planned, which are thought to be a large SUV and a sedan.

The Grand Tourer will be one of three models that comprise Jaguar's electric relaunch, announced for 2021. A large SUV and a sedan are believed to be in the works after the four-door GT.

Meanwhile, Jaguar has been discontinuing most of its current gasoline models, as well as its first EV, the I-Pace, leaving only the F-Pace SUV in showrooms until new electric models arrive. It is expected that the traditional looking SUV and sedan will follow the former.

All three will be based on a new platform called JEA (Jaguar Electrified Architecture) and will have North American Charging Standard (NACS) ports for drivers to access Tesla Supercharger stations.
