Apparently Tesla gave an exclusive look at its Optimus robot and its new Cybercab to none other than Kim Kardashian.
The reality TV star has owned Tesla cars for a long time, but has been open about his Tesla car ownership since the Cybertruck.
We previously reported that he might have the first painted Cybertruck.
Now, Tesla has brought him a few Optimus humanoid robots and a special demo Cybercab that he shared on his Instagram stories:
The Optimus robot did some of the tricks it did at Tesla's 'We, Robot' event, although we know those robots were working remotely at the time.
There doesn't seem to be anything new about that – even though Tesla brought him a gold Optimus.
Kardashian appeared impressed with the Cybercab and even congratulated Tesla's chief designer Franz von Holzhausen. He recommended “rims”, which involve painting the side of the tires with gold.
It is unclear whether Tesla paid Kardashian for her Instagram stories that she sent to her hundreds of millions of followers.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has long said the automaker doesn't choose celebrities or pay for their endorsements, but we've seen signs of that changing.
Especially with the Cybertruck, many celebrities seem to have their own priorities and recently, Tesla hired its first celebrity ambassador.

I think this is Tesla now. Look, if they didn't pay you, good for them. It is free to the public. Anyone can take it, but giving an exclusive look at Optimus and Cybercab to Tesla shareholders only (at the We, Robot event) and now Kim Kardashian is saying a lot about the company right now.
Tesla does not allow technical reviewers and journalists to test those products because it would be busy. They're far from perfect, but as always, Tesla still wants to be tough on them.
That's why you go to Kardashian, who often posts about clothes, jewelry, and makeup. You wouldn't expect them to analyze the durability of Tesla's humanoid robots or the capabilities of the Cybercab to benefit from better than human driving skills.
