Volvo's cheapest and first three-row electric SUVs are here. After much anticipation, Volvo revealed US pricing for the new 2025 EX30 and EX90 EV models on Tuesday. Here's how much it can get you.
2025 Volvo EX30 and EX90 prices by trim
The EX30, Volvo's smallest and most affordable electric car, is already one of the best-selling electric cars in Europe. After delivering the first models in December 2023, Volvo sold nearly 100,000 EX30s last year.
According to data from European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) released on Tuesday, the compact electric SUV helped push Volvo's sales up 28.4% in Europe last year (369,689 units), the highest growth rate among OEMs.
Now, the EX30 is finally starting to roll out in the US. After several delays, Volvo announced that the most popular model will be available in late 2024.
The 2025 Volvo EX30 Twin Motor Performance has a starting price of $44,900. Upgrading to the Ultra trim, which includes additional Park Pilot Assist, a 360-degree camera with 3D view, Pilot Assist, and more, costs an additional $1,700, starting at $46,600.


Up to 422 hp, the extended-range Twin Motor Performance model is the fastest Volvo ever, sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds.
The 2025 Volvo EX30 has a range of up to 253 miles. With a charging capacity of up to 153 kW, the electric SUV can charge in just over 25 minutes.

Volvo also revealed the 2025 EX90, its first three-row electric SUV (check out our review), will have a starting price of $79,995. All US-bound EX90 models will be built in South Carolina.
The EX90 is “the start of a new era for Volvo cars,” according to CEO Jim Rowan. Volvo's large electric SUV has a Scandinavian design signature and advanced new technology.
With up to 67.6 cu ft of cargo space and seven seats, the Volvo EX90 is the latest luxury family car to arrive in the US.
At 68.7″ long, 77.3″ wide, and 198.3″ tall, the EX90 is Volvo's largest electric SUV to date. It will compete with other electric SUVs in the US such as Rivian R1S (77″ H x 82″ W, 201″ L), BMW iX (67″ H x 77″ W x 195″ L), and the new Porsche Macan. EV (64″ H x 76″ W x 188″ L).

Powered by a large 111 kWh battery, the 2025 Volvo EX90 offers a range of up to 310 miles. It will take longer than EX30 to charge (10% to 80%) about 30 minutes.
The XC40 Recharge has been renamed the EX40 to match its new electric SUVs. The 2025 Volvo EX40 starts at $52,500. With an 82 kWh battery, up from 78 kWh, the EX40 Twin Motor AWD starts at $54,250.
